Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway September 2026
This September, Nest & Bloom Community Alliance is providing ten backpacks filled with essential school supplies to children of mothers in recovery.
Through partnerships with local recovery programs, backpacks will be distributed directly to families who could use additional support as their children begin the new school year.
This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting women in recovery as whole people—including their roles as mothers and caregivers. By helping ease one small financial burden, we hope to help families begin the school year feeling supported, prepared, and encouraged.

At Nest & Bloom Community Alliance, community care starts with showing up — even in the smallest ways.
Behind the scenes, our youngest helper joined us as we packed bookbags for our first Back-to-School Initiative. Each bag is being prepared with care for a child whose mother is navigating recovery, because supporting women in recovery also means supporting the families growing alongside them.
What began as a small idea is becoming something tangible: backpacks filled with supplies, community partnerships being built, and families being reminded that they are seen and supported.
This is only the beginning. We’re planting seeds today for the community we hope to build tomorrow.
